The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the large variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The assistance issue made for intervention activities a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a here service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance status sassa providers,” the agency said.
